    1. Thanks – I use a Sony Handycam HDR-PJ710V (mostly on a small tripod) for the video and AVR on an iPhone for the audio, then sync them together in edit, using the better of the two audios (sometimes, outdoors, the camera does better audio)

  1. Would love to try the pickle dog & elote dog, but would definitely pass on that Fruity Pebbles po boy. I’m pretty open to food ideas, but some things just don’t belong lol

    1. It didn’t really take anything away or add to it – too much and the sweetness would have killed the sandwich. The shrimp was really good…

    1. john vidal thank you – we’ll have more items from the OC Fair towards the end of this month

  2. LOL… anything to make a $… pebbles on a po boy… pickle dogs won’t be the new thing….lol

    1. Old Guy In Colorado I liked the food, but the Fruity enables thing was a bit strange, even for me.

  3. Hello silver fox 😎 Interesting items ! I’d definitely try each of those items. I love Po’ boys but why the fruity pebbles ? I mean, it doesn’t really add anything to the experience other than its kinda off putting. I guess it looked colorful lol I love Elotes but on a hot dog ? I’d tried it tho. The Pickle dog is really weird & Id even try that too lol. I enjoyed the video ! Thanks ! Take care. 💛

    1. 1WickedAngel1 the Fruity Pebbles added some crunchy sweetness to the sandwich, but not enough to make a major difference. Too much, I think, would ruin the sandwich.

  4. Great video Val! Nice to see Reiana… i think I might like that pickle hotdog… im the only one I know who likes mayonnaise and relish on my hotdog. Don’t forget to film any cool stuff at the fair! I loved that mining exhibit a few videos ago

    1. Tybalt when we go back at the end of the month we’ll be covering the non-food aspect of the fair, and they seem to have more of that at the OC Fair than the San Diego Fair. We got you covered.
